Needless to say that entrepreneurship is deeply rooted in the culture of Gujarat; however technology has not been suitably leveraged by a large majority of our entrepreneurs. With the increasing penetration of engineering and management education in the state, CII feels that it is the right time that we encourage and inspire the younger and techno-savvy mind to consider techno-entrepreneurship as a career stream. Many of them would already have an idea or a desire to look at entrepreneurship; but the direction is missing. The Universities/ educational institutes can provide this much needed direction. The conference is geared towards enabling the educational institutes create an Eco-system for those who have a disposition towards techno-entrepreneurship.

To achieve this goal, CII is holding a Round Table Conference with the University/Institutes on 12 December 2008 to discuss few important areas related to Entrepreneurship as a Career Stream.
